R/O attempted to stop the individual, who refused to stop, and continued walking northbound on Second Street, SE. The Suspect then began to run and, after a brief foot pursuit, R/O detained the Suspect. A show-up was conducted in the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, which resulted in a positive identification of the Suspect.
