A year ago, AL’s record low unemployment rate was 2.7%. However, that number grew to 13.3% by April 2020. By Dec., our UE rate was back down to 3.9%, the lowest since the pandemic began. Our economic foundation is solid, & I’m optimistic for the future. @al_labor #alpolitics |
