The heater was not functioning correctly in Resident #120's bathroom. Facility census: 105. Findings include: a) Resident #120 An interview was conducted on 04/10/14 at 10:10 a.m. with Resident #120. During this Stage 1 interview, the resident stated his room was cold when staff left the bathroom door open. He said leaving the bathroom door open created a draft, causing his bedroom to be cold. An observation of Resident #120's room was conducted with the maintenance director, Employee #124, on 04/10/14 at 10:30 a.m. When the situation was discussed, Employee #124 stated if the resident was cold, the resident could just turn the heater on in the bathroom. When he first entered the bathroom, the maintenance director commented the bathroom temperature was a little bit cooler than the bedroom temperature. Employee #124 checked the air temperature in the bathroom. It was 66.5 degrees Fahrenheit. He then attempted to turn on the heater in the bathroom, but the heater would not function.
